NEWS CATERING
News Catering is a full service catering company. We arrange a large variety of different types of events from large corporate events to intimate family get-togethers, in either the clients’ own location or alternatively we can help find a suitable venue for the event. We are known for excellent food and offer a wide, diverse selection of different types of menus. Event planning and program services can also be arranged through News Catering as we have a wide network of event organisations that we work closely with.

News Catering offers services in the capital region and, if necessary, also elsewhere in Finland. We have been organizing various events with solid professionalism since the late 1990s. We employ approx. 10 people permanently and a large number of seasonal workers at peak times. The food is prepared in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, from where it is transported to the customers in a refrigerated truck suitable for the purpose and in the company's vans. We have been providing services from intimate events for a few people to serving hundreds and even thousands of guests.
Our kitchen strives to offer fresh menu items according to different themes and seasons. Through us you can rent, for example, tableware and skilled staff to handle the event. We have several options for party spaces where we can hold meetings, seminars, relaxed kick-off events and various family parties as well as weddings and birthdays. Through our cooperation network, you can order, for example, various decoration, program and event services for your occasion.

We will deliver the food and drinks, and our staff will take care of all the practicalities and ensure the success of your event.
We can help you arrange the event at your own location or you can inquire about suitable venues through us. We have contacts to several venues in the central area of Helsinki and outside of Helsinki as well. Event organisation and program services can also all be ordered through us and our professional partners.

Whether it's a 10-person lunch or a multi-hundred-person business event, we'll help you find the right venue and deliver the catering and drinks. Our staff will take care of all practical arrangements and ensure the success of your event. We will help you arrange your event in your own premises or you can inquire about other facilities through us. We have contacts with several venues in the centre of Helsinki and beyond. Wohls Stall
Volsintie 597, 02400 Kirkkonummi
After a complete renovation, a new banquet and event space, Wohls Stall, was opened in November 2020. The multipurpose hall of the stable is suitable for seminars, corporate events and family parties or concerts.
Depending on the furnishings, the hall can accommodate up to 150 people and the fully equipped kitchen allows smooth catering for larger groups. If necessary, the entrance hall can also be used as an additional space. The "Milk Chamber" meeting room for 8 people is ideal for e.g. management meetings. The Gustavian-style, romantic manor building Wohls Gård offers space for 60-65 persons and beautiful lakeside views.

Unforgettable events at the Theatre Museum
The Theater Museum space is perfectly adaptable to stage new kinds of parties and events. In the raw and edgy environment of the Cable Factory awaits an exciting world exuding the inimitable scent of theatre, within easy reach by public transport.
All kinds of parties and soirées can be organised in the Arkadia Theatre (fit for 10–60 guests), in the Black Box exhibition space (for 80 guests), round exhibition space (for 60 guests) – or in the entire Museum. The party can also move around the Museum! Arkadia has, among other things, sound equipment and a large screen for projections.

Meeting Park is a unique meeting, training and event centre for up to 500 people. The Meeting Park is located in key locations in the heart of the city centre - where it's easiest, fastest and most convenient to get around. In Helsinki, our offices are located right in the city centre and its transport hub - in the Ruoholahti metro station building, next to the Kluuvi shopping centre and next to the Kampi shopping centre, in the Sokos Hotel President building. Trains, Metros, Buses, Trams, Fillari and parking garages are all nearby - and all of them are directly accessible with dry feet!
Agroksenmäen holvikellari

Located in Hermann, Helsinki, the Agroksenmäki vault cellar is a 150-year-old beer factory warehouse and a barrel maker's workshop that was commissioned for event use in 2005. The space is unique in its kind, as the 300 square metre ballroom, vaulted from a five-metre-high natural granite, is half underground.
The vaulted cellar creates an atmospheric setting for various business-, theme-, wedding- and family celebrations, but is also ideal for exhibition, meeting and mini-fair use.

The stunning archipelago scenery of Helsinki offers a unique setting for your event. Family parties, meetings, recreation days and archipelago excursions are always more successful in the fresh sea air! We can tailor a cruise itinerary to your wishes. Suomenlinna, Eiranranta, Kalasatama and the Degerö Canal are just a few of the possible destinations, but our ships can sail all the way to Porvoo if you wish! Departure is conveniently from Kauppatori, the heart of Helsinki.
The Diana and Sofia represent the most modern of island ships, while the Victoria has a charming wooden ship charm. All boats have a large sun deck with unobstructed island views and comfortable interiors that can accommodate between 48 and 72 people, depending on the vessel. All boats have WI-FI, microphone, speakers in all rooms, toilets and a café/bar with concessions. Cruise season: May-September.
